Mount Macedon & District Horticultural Society, or MMDHS, is one of the oldest garden clubs in Victoria having started in 1922. 

ABOUT US

The purpose of MMDHS is to promote horticulture within Mount Macedon and its surrounds.

 

We offer education, community activities and the provision of support and assistance to like-minded individuals.

MMDHS has more than 150 members and is always looking for new faces!

We are actively involved in the local community and offer a wonderful network of resources, events, local knowledge and more.

WHAT'S ON

Each year we host garden tours, workshops, speaker nights and more.

We are also proud partners of the Garden Lovers Fair held annually at the stunning Bolobek Gardens at the base of Mount Macedon.

​

Currently we are fundraising for a statue of Ellis Rowan, an internationally renowned artist of flora and fauna in the late 1800's. Click below for more information.
